Coach's Corner

Just a reminder that in little over a week, you can come get your car washed by the players of South Side Attack U9 Boys.   The boys, and their parents, do a great job of getting the grime off of your car or truck.   Bring them dirty and be amazed with how clean the boys will get them.

Try outs for U10 and U9 boys is set for the following dates:

June 17th - 5:30pm till 7:30pm - Woodman Elementary School (Southside of school)

June 19th - 5:30pm till 7:30pm - Woodman Elementary School (Southside of school)

June 21st - 11:00am till 2:00pm - Woodman Elementary School (Southside of school)

All players who try out will be notified of their status sometime after June 21st. If there are still any openings, you may try out at any practice.  Practice times will be 6pm till 7:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday at Woodman Elementary School. 

If you are currently NOT on any soccer team, you may contact us for a try out time at any time.

You should bring the following:

• Medical Release
• Player Membership
• Liabilty Release
• Current Color Headshot Picture (around a postage stamp in size)

You will be required to have all three forms before you can try out.  All required forms can be downloaded online by going to the forms section of our website. If you have never played at S.C.S.A., you are also required by S.C.S.A. to provide a copy of your birth certificate before they will allow you to register as a player.  We also advise that all parents and players read and understand the S.C.S.A. operations manual.  You will find a link to it under the forms area of our website.  As a parent, you should print and read the Parent Agreement Form.

The next class will be Sat July 26 AND Sun July 27, 2008 8am - 5pm each day at Newman University.  You will need to go to the above URL to sign up. 

We can't have an enjoyable experience at South Side Soccer without qualified referees.
